Ingredients
  

  • 3 lb Beef Chuck Cubed
  • Flour
  • 8+ T Vegetable oil
  • 2 cups Water
  • 1 x 32 Oz can Tomatoes Petite diced or crushed
  • 8 Cloves whole
  • 2 Bay Leaves
  • 3 t salt
  • 1/4 t Black pepper
  • 1 cup Celery Chopped
  • 1 Cup Onion Chopped
  • 12 Carrots Chopped
  • 4 Potatoes Chopped
  • 1 Cup Green pepper Chopped

Instructions
 

  • Roll beef in flour and brown in oil in batches in a single layer
  • Add water, tomatoes, cloves, bay leaves, salt, and pepper. Stir.
  • Simmer uncovered 1 1/2 hour
  • Add vegetables
  • Cook 1 hour
