
MomMom’s Hot Chicken Salad
Equipment
- Mixing bowl
- Casserole dish
Ingredients
- 2 c Chicken breast Cooked
- 1 c Celery Chopped
- 1 c Rice Cooked
- 3/4 c Mayonnaise
- 1 t Onion Chopped
- 1 t Lemon juice
- 1 t Salt
- 1 can Water chestnuts Drained
- 1 can Cream of chicken soup
- 3 Hard boiled eggs
- 1/4 lb Butter
- 1 c Corn flakes
- 1/2 c Slivered almonds
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients except for butter, corn flakes, and almonds
- Place in 2 qt. greesed casserole dish
- Melt butter and sauté corn flakes and almonds. Top casserole with mixture
- Cook 30 minutes at 350° or until hot and browned
