MomMom’s Hot Chicken Salad

  • Mixing bowl
  • Casserole dish

Ingredients
  

  • 2 c Chicken breast Cooked
  • 1 c Celery Chopped
  • 1 c Rice Cooked
  • 3/4 c Mayonnaise
  • 1 t Onion Chopped
  • 1 t Lemon juice
  • 1 t Salt
  • 1 can Water chestnuts Drained
  • 1 can Cream of chicken soup
  • 3 Hard boiled eggs
  • 1/4 lb Butter
  • 1 c Corn flakes
  • 1/2 c Slivered almonds

Instructions
 

  • Combine all ingredients except for butter, corn flakes, and almonds
  • Place in 2 qt. greesed casserole dish
  • Melt butter and sauté corn flakes and almonds. Top casserole with mixture
  • Cook 30 minutes at 350° or until hot and browned
