Southern Sweet Tea
Equipment
- Pitcher, 3 quart
- Sauce Pan
- Strainer
Ingredients
- 1 Qt Water
- 1 c Sugar
- 1/2 Lemon sliced
- 1/2 Orange sliced
- 9 bags Black Tea regular size
Instructions
- Bring water and sugar to a boil, dissolving sugar
- Remove from heat, add tea bags
- Steep tea for 8 minutes
- Add ice, additional water, and fruit to pitcher
- Strain tea bags and discard
- Add tea to pitcher
- Add water to top off pitcher
- Mix and server or refrigerate
