
Baker’s Original Brownies
Original brownie receipe from the Bakers chocolate box
Equipment
- Double Boiler
- Wire Wisk (or Electric Mixer)
- 9 x 13 Baking Pan
Ingredients
- 4 oz Bakers unsweetened chocolate 1 box
- โ c Butter
- 1โ c Flour
- 1 t Baking Powder
- ยฝ t Salt
- 4 Eggs Large
- 2 c Sugar
- 2 t Vanilla
Instructions
- Preheat over to 350ยฐ with oven rack in the middle
- Grease baking pan
- Melt butter and chocolate in double boiler4 oz Bakers unsweetened chocolate, โ c Butter
- Measure flour, salt, and baking powder in a small bowl1โ c Flour, 1 t Baking Powder, ยฝ t Salt
- Beat eggs thoroughly in a separate, large mixing bowl with wisk4 Eggs
- Gradually add sugar to eggs and mix2 t Vanilla
- Blend chocolate mixture and vanilla with sugar and eggs2 c Sugar
- Add flour and stir well
- Spread brownie mixture in baking pan and bake for 25 – 30 minutes
- Cool and cut into 24 squares
