Slow Cooker Lemon Garlic Chicken over Jasmine Rice
Tender chicken with mild, aromatic flavors with jasmine rice reflecting the same aromatics
Equipment
- 1 Slow Cooker
- 1 Skillet
Ingredients
- 1 t Oregano dried
- ยฝ t Salt
- ยผ t Pepper
- 2 lb Chicken Breast boneless, skinless
- 2 T Butter
- ยผ c Water
- 3 T Lemmon Juice fresh
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 1 t Chicken Bouillon granuals
- 1 t Parsley fresh, chopped
Instructions
Prep Chicken
- Mix oregano, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl and rub into chicken1 t Oregano, ยฝ t Salt, ยผ t Pepper, 2 lb Chicken Breast
- Melt butter in a skillet and brown chicken for 3 – 5 minutes per side over medium heat2 T Butter
- Place chicken in slow cooker
Prep Cooking Liquid
- In same skillet, mix water, lemon juice, garlic, and bouillon and bring to boilยผ c Water, 3 T Lemmon Juice, 2 cloves Garlic, 1 t Chicken Bouillon granuals
- Pour bouillon liquid over chicken in slow cooker
- Cover and cook for 3 hours on high or 6 hours on low
- Add parsley 15 – 30 minutes prior to end of cook time1 t Parsley
Notes
If desired, cook jasmine rice with chicken bouillon and fresh, chopped parsely
