
Steamed Shrimp
Equipment
- Dutch Oven (with lid)
- Steamer Basket
Ingredients
- 4 T Old Bay Seasoning Plus extra to season shrimp
- 1 c White Vinegar
- 1 c Water
- 2 lb Shrimp Raw, shell on, 20 – 30 count
Instructions
- Thaw shrimp if frozen
- Combine Old Bay, vinegar, and water in dutch oven. Stir
- Stir, add steamer basket, and bring to a boil
- Layer shrimp in steamer basket, seasoning each layer with additional Old Bay
- Cover and steam until tender (about 3 to 5 minutes)
- Place shrimp in a large serving bowl. Serve with cocktail sauce
