Steamed Shrimp

Equipment

  • Dutch Oven (with lid)
  • Steamer Basket

Ingredients
  

  • 4 T Old Bay Seasoning Plus extra to season shrimp
  • 1 c White Vinegar
  • 1 c Water
  • 2 lb Shrimp Raw, shell on, 20 – 30 count

Instructions
 

  • Thaw shrimp if frozen
  • Combine Old Bay, vinegar, and water in dutch oven. Stir
  • Stir, add steamer basket, and bring to a boil
  • Layer shrimp in steamer basket, seasoning each layer with additional Old Bay
  • Cover and steam until tender (about 3 to 5 minutes)
  • Place shrimp in a large serving bowl. Serve with cocktail sauce
